Full instructions are given with each box of FREEZTEQ. Basically, each hole is drilled to within 25mm of the wall thickness. The frozen ice stick of FREEZTEQ is then inserted into each pre-drilled hole. Sufficient ice sticks must be used to fill each hole. The frozen FREEZTEQ ice sticks then melt slowly and diffuses into the wall much more effectively than an injected damp-proof course and provides an effective damp-proof course. The process is repeated until all holes have been filled. This is one application and once all sticks have dissolved the process is repeated a further 3 times within a 24 hour period to provide the best chemical damp-proof course available.

One box containing 250 prepacked 'ice sticks' will treat approx 7 metres of 225mm / 9" thick walling and the cost of a box of 250 Freezteq ice sticks is £55.00.

Boxes of 100 Freezteq ice-sticks are £25.00 and 50 Freezteq ice-sticks are £12.00

KA Tanking system

The complete crystalline solution to waterproofing masonry and blockwork.

The KA Tanking Slurry waterproofing system provides a solution to water leakage, ingress or seepage in concrete structures or any cementitious substrate. The formation and development of insoluble crystals into water bearing capillaries and fissures effectively blocks the further passage of water and ensure permanent water tightness for the life of the structure.

Areas of Use
KA Tanking Slurry can be applied to new or old structurally sound surfaces. It can be applied to the negative or positive side and will negate dampness in ground water permeation even under hydrostatic pressure. It can be used for the following applications:

  • Waterproofing basements
  • Swimming pools
  • Earth retaining walls subject to lateral damp penetration
  • Tunnels, Slurry pits, irrigation channels
  • Bathrooms, wetrooms and kitchens
  • Concrete drinking water tanks

Advantages

  • Provides excellent waterproofing properties by becoming an integral part of the structure to which it is applied
  • Non-toxic
  • Non tainting
  • Dual crystalline and surface action
  • Allows the substrate to breathe
  • The migratory crystalline action is reactivated should future water contact occur
  • Eliminates potential wear, delamination or peeling

Forest Dampbusters can deliver KA Tanking Slurry free of charge to your house or building site and the cost per 25 kg bucket is £15.00. Guaranteed cheapest prices in the Forest of Dean for KA tanking slurry.
